Deleting email.
We have simplified the process of deleting email. The upgraded webmail now features a more conventional Trash folder that deleted mail is moved to. This trash folder can then be emptied by clicking the Empty Trash button along the top menu.
To delete an email from the index, click on the checkbox on the line next to the email to be deleted. You may select more than one email. Then click on the "Delete" link along the top of the index.
To delete an email being displayed, click on the "Delete" link along the top of the message.
Deleted emails are moved to the Trash folder. You can view your Trash folder by selecting it from the options under Mail in the left menu. If you select and delete an email that is already in your Trash folder, then that email is permanently deleted.
Deleted emails remain in your Trash folder even when you log out. To permanently remove the deleted emails click on the "Empty Trash" button along the top menu.
In the Mail options, there is a category called "Login Tasks". These allow you to change the behaviour of the Trash folder, including purging old mail from the Trash folder when logging in.
